Monkey BIZ-ness

Do you have a business? If so, are you on merchantcircle? Linkedin? These are just a few social sites that you can set and almost forget.
Merchant Circle is great for connecting with existing and potential customers and a way to have a web presence if you don't have one AND it is FREE!!!
Clients can also send testimonials and messages through either of these sites... don't forget to fill out thePROFILE info with links back to your existing sites (if you have one).

Profiling....

Ok not someone else but you, yourself....who are you? what do you do? AND / OR what is your business.
As I am writing the imonkey copy, I realize there is ALOT of info, so I will attempt to break it down.
Lets work on your profile...it really isn't that complicated...follow me.(oh, fill in the blanks)
My name is ------, I am a ------ and (title)of -------- http://www.shameless websiteinfo.com & if you have more than one put that info here http://www.myotherdomain.com
At -------- we create, sell, teach whatever it is here. Currently i am working on keywords, use your keywords, give a little warm fuzzy and use your keywords. In my classes, workshop we will expose you to ----------- to help your business/life. Give an example of why you are the authority in your field and any contact info here.
This is a basic way to create a profile.
If you are a friend of mine on facebook, check out how I have popped keywords into my profile and my profile has several links to my sites. Note how the URL(s) are spelled out completely.
Save your written profile in a word doc. or somewhere so you can copy and paste, saving time from rewriting.
enjoy!

Where do ya' start

OMG, how many times have I been asked that question? My answer? Pick something and get it going. Do you have any web presence? If not, start a blog and get on some social networking sites like facebook, myspace and youtube.
If you are a business, especially a brick and mortar join merchant circle and linked in.
The suggestions I'm giving above are all FREE, yes 100% FREE, they just require you spend a little time and some finece in writing your profile(s).
Once you get going, join twitter, find friends and tweet to your hearts content. Twitter can be used as a way to softly and sweetly get your message out, connect with like minded folks and while you are at it, you can link it to several social networking sites, your blog or website automatically, just get the right "widget" for the right site.
